Add me to the list of dissatisfied
customers. I read your website with a mix of amusement and dismay.
I, too, have suffered most of the problems that you and your chain of
respondents have. Unformatted tapes, read errors, write errors, miserable
software, installation difficulties, inability to format a tape, "shoe
shine" ad infinitum, non-existent technical support (Clean the head.
Uninstall. Re-install. Turn it off. Turn it on. It still doesn't
work? It is not our fault.)...
But, I feel that I need a 10G tape backup. What do you
recommend? Has there been any update from Sony? Your last entry was
Feb 6th. Any changes? I would greatly value your advice, since you
have taken this issue to heart.
