Yes that's firmware update.  In any case I could not get these drives
to work in Win 98 machines and believe me I tried.   They've been on a shelf for a long time and I said "one more try".  Amazingly they
work great under Windows 2000.  That's the whole story in complete sentences.

Oh, POS more commonly stands for Point of Sale, so it threw me.
Also, what does firmup mean? Firmware Upgrade? If so, no, I
don't have one and I'm not sure they are upgradable are they?
