Hi kyle,
Yes that's firmware update. In any case I could not get these
drives
to work in Win 98 machines and believe me I tried.
They've been on a shelf for a long time and I said "one more try".
Amazingly they
work great under Windows 2000. That's the whole story in
complete sentences.

threw me. Also, what does firmup mean? Firmware Upgrade? If so, no,
